Breathe in, breathe out...

I'm leaning more and more towards being "one and done" with Noah. This kid is a handful, and definitely keeps me on my toes. I cannot even being to fathom juggling another mini ninja. I have no idea how moms handle multiples or even two under two, but I have a newfound respect for those mothers. They must seriously be supermoms! In all seriousness, Noah's climbing abilities are beginning to petrify me. He adores climbing on the couch and tugging on the blinds. Not the chords, because those are rolled up in some baby proofing contraption, but the actual blinds. He's already managed to break a couple off. His latest maneuver cause him to loose balance and fall backwards off of the couch, as I watched in horror. As I ran from the kitchen to attempt catching him, he managed to contort his little body like a cat, and he landed on his hands and knees. More scared than hurt, he only cried for a few minutes. The whole ordeal left no bruises or bumps, but it definitely sca...

Easter Sunday 2014 has come and gone. The Easter bunny brought Noah his very own little red car + a basket full of books, baseball Easter eggs, a bouncey ball, sidewalk chalk, Mega Bloks, and few other toys. I recently came across a blog, created by the mother of a girl that I knew, back during my music days. This particular girl is now a rather successful Christian recording artist, with an adorable family. Her mother's website focuses on yummy recipes and inspirational pieces. However, this one particular post, about motherhood, had me sobbing and grinning. She tapped into the reality of emotions every mother has felt, in such a real, everyday life kind of situation. It was like a written hug, filled with genuine compassion and reassurance. πŸ’• For anyone interested in reading her post, it can be found here:    http://katebattistelli.com/ The title is "10 Truths About Motherhood I Learned At The Grocery Store".  On another note, cheers to the success of musicians, artists, singers/songwriters, and dreamers, who are able to pursue their creative dreams + balance a family/work life. Someone pointed me to the singer of Eisley's IG page (Sherri DuPree-Bemis). Her adorable li...
